Straddle Lift Training
The Marine Systems Training Center will be hosting straddle lift training in partnership with The Boat School -Husson University. The training will take place at boatyards in two locations this year:
August 26 at Yankee Marine in Yarmouth
August 27 at John Williams Boat Company on MDI

Marine Service Management from ABBRA at the MSTC
The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA), in partnership with the Marine Systems Training Center (MSTC), is offering the popular Marine Service Management (MSM) course in November. The next MSM course is scheduled for November 3–6, 2010, at the MSTC in Thomaston, Maine.

CPR/AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) Certification & First Aid Certification

Topics include: Emergency plans, wound control, medical emergencies, trauma, shock and environmental injuries.

Classes For Boat Owners at the MSTC
The Marine Systems Training Center will be offering two boat owner workshops this spring on rigging and electronics. These workshops are designed to help create well informed customers. We want boat owners to understand why and when to call on our industry's professionals, and what they should ask. Please pass on this information to your customers.

Computer Classes Now Available at the MSTC
The Marine Systems Training Center will kick off the computer lab opening with Intro to Excel on April 28 and Intermediate Excel on May 26. Instruction will be provided by Vtec Education of Portland.
