Format: In-person standards review and exam
This is a new certification since ABYC combined their Diesel and Gas Engine certifications. The Marine Engines and Fuel Systems Certification focuses on the ABYC Standards that apply to both gasoline and diesel-fuel engines, and the systems they are connected to, such as fuel, electric, drives, and exhaust. Basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of these various systems are also addressed.
Basic engine operation and troubleshooting are addressed as well, along with repair and maintenance of these various systems and the skills necessary for quality customer service and operational excellence. It is particularly suited for marine service professionals with at least 2 to 3 years of experience working with inboard, outboard, sterndrive, and saildrive engines. Topics covered

$1200 for non-members
