Maine Electric Boat Company was founded to give boaters in New England an alternative to environmentally destructive gas and diesel motors. Our boats are available for short term rental, as well as purchase. Nestled on the banks of the Saco River, MEBC is steps away from downtown the downtown areas of both Biddeford and Saco, Maine.

MEBC operates out of Rumery’s Boat Yard – a marine staple of the Southern Maine region since 1962. Rumery’s has long been involved in the environmental side of boating, and is thrilled to be involved with projects that can reduce the carbon impact of the marine industry.
